DANNY & GRAEME

An acoustic indie pop duo from the small town of Kilmarnock, Scotland had Hollywood dreams. Their journey began at the age of 15, in their high school music program. With a shared passion for harmonies and similar bands – Calidonia was born. Graeme, a budding singer, began writing lyrics with Danny, a guitarist with charismatic melodies. Together they created a buzz with shows featured on local TV stations and splashed across Scottish front pages. Outgrowing clubs in Scotland, Calidonia started performing at some of London’s most prestigious lounges and venues. After gaining momentum in the UK, the boys were flown out to New York to showcase for renowned music mogul LA Reid, which landed them a record deal with Sony Epic. Calidonia was also focusing on their songwriting as well as their artistry, landing the title track on Justin Bieber's album "Believe" as well as other major placements and vocals on The Wanted's "We Own The Night".

“After we wrote Justin Biebers’s title track “Believe” we weren’t sure what was next for us musically. We began collaborating on our first major project and infused traditional banjos and bagpipes on mainstream tracks. It was incredible.” confessed Calidonia. Each lyric is linked with tuneful, intimate detail. Calidonia’s real-life experiences translate vividly through speakers. They are now residing in Nashville where they are continuing to blend their existing sound with fresh Nashville influences while keeping their Scottish authenticity.
